The Cry remix features Rock (of Heltah Skeltah), Torae and Tenacity.. ENJOY!

About Sean Price:
Sean Price (March 17, 1972 – August 8, 2015) was an American rapper and member of the hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik.[1] He was half of the duo Heltah Skeltah, performing under the name Ruckus (sometimes abbreviated as Ruck), along with partner Rock.

A member of the underground hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik, Price first appeared on Smif-N-Wessun‘s 1995 album Dah Shinin’. He would soon resurface in 1996 as one half of the critically acclaimed Brooklyn duo Heltah Skeltah, who released their debut album Nocturnal on Duck Down Records that year. Heltah Skeltah would go on to release two more albums, 1998’s Magnum Force and 2008’s D.I.R.T..

In the 2000s, Price established himself as a strong force in the underground hip hop community. In 2005, he released his first solo album Monkey Barz, to critical acclaim. He followed this in 2007 with Jesus Price Supastar and Mic Tyson in 2012. Songs in the Key of Price, a mixtape recorded before Price’s death, was released posthumously on August 21, 2015.

In 2011, Price was a judge on the Ultimate MC TV show alongside Royce da 5’9″OrganikPlanet Asia, and Pharoahe Monch.[3]

Price was interviewed on the online series Grand Angel TV in 2008[4] and 2010,[5] with Paid Dues performance footage alongside Boot Camp Clik and Dru Ha, respectively.

In 2011, he formed the group Random Axe with Guilty Simpson and producer Black Milk.

He had a planned collaborative album with rapper Ill Bill in the works, called The Pill.[6]

About Rodan:
Rodan is swoopin’ down on the hip-hop landscape for the Y2G1 and well beyond.Rodan who was featured on the soundtrack for the critically acclaimed and Academy Award nominated documentary “On The Ropes”, released on Milan Records in August of ’99,as well as the MF Doom LP, Operation Doomsday off of the Fondle ‘Em label, released in Oct. ’99 and re released on SubverseMusic in May ’01 , is now making his meteoric solo debut.

Rodan hailing from Long Island, one of the four major land masses laying on the outskirts of the notorious Monster Island a.k.a New York City and as the resident street scientist in the undergrounds most ecclectic and electric collective Monsta Island Czars[MIC], sets things off with “Theophany [The Book Of Elevations]” a blazing full length tour de force that exemplifies hip-hop in its most pristine state . Intellectual and overflowing with ascerbic irony , Rodan shoots nuclear missles from a slingshot while “..perched a top five pillars of hip hop asthetic soul,” and spits pure lyrical plasma “…at 186,000 kilobytes per second…” all the while accompanied and complimented by banging tracks courtesy of “..a-alike criminal minds..” collaborative efforts with Most Intelligent Czars bretheren X-Ray , which serve to heighten each perfomance with a complete sense of metro tension and rhythmic suspense . Ro takes us on a guided tour through the maze of street gunplay [“No Snakes Alive Pt.2”] , violence in a prison mess hall [“Vengance&Violence”] , to forecasting for societys future by way of the constellations [“The Wilderness”] , and along the way just about everything else in between , from the grimy to the sublime , all the time attacking every nuance of each narrative with furious fervor and maximum intensity . Some of the other stand out joints include “Wind Before The Storm”, “Century 21” [w/Megalon], “Roll Call” [w/Kong,Gigan and Kamackeris], “Erotic Peaks”, “No Degrees” and the incredible, inimitably tounge in cheek “G.O.D.”, which will, guranteed, distort any preconceived notion you may carry about the definition of the term ‘god’, how it is used and the every day practical application of its power.

Blatantly unabashed intelligence and lyrical prowess combined with utterly authentic street sensibilities , elevates “Theophany [TBOE]” well above most of the competition and sets Rodan into a category amongst the unique and elite in the game . Keep your eyes [all 3 of them ] on these Monsta Island Czar high flyers [if you can see that far up] . Unquestionably one of the next major forces in hip hop.
