MANAFEST VISION

Founded in 2011 by artist, producer, educator, and U.S. Cultural Ambassador MeccaGodZilla, MANAFEST VISION is an independent record label dedicated to creating music with purpose while building meaningful connections between artists, cultures, and communities around the world.

The label was established following MeccaGodZilla’s early travels throughout Japan, where a deep appreciation for cultural exchange helped shape a vision for a record label that could be something more than a traditional music company. Rather than simply releasing records, MANAFEST VISION was created to serve as a platform where independent artists could create timeless work, retain their creative identity, and build lasting careers rooted in authenticity. From its inception, the label has been guided by the belief that Hip Hop can serve as a bridge between people, transcending borders, languages, and backgrounds.

MANAFEST VISION’s catalog began with a successful Kickstarter campaign that funded MeccaGodZilla’s first solo album under the moniker RYU BLACK, PERFECT 天. Inspired by Capcom’s Street Fighter series and the Japanese character “天” (ten), meaning “heaven,” the project established the label’s commitment to thoughtful, cross-cultural artistry from its very first release. The catalog continued to grow with releases including Sim-E’s Sim-City, the reissue of Shackles Off by Kong of the legendary Monsta Island Czars collective, co-founded by MF DOOM, and collaborative projects such as the Spiritual Bitch EP with Japanese Hip Hop pioneer COMA-CHI. Alongside these releases, MANAFEST VISION has continued to serve as the home for MeccaGodZilla’s work as an artist, producer, and educator, while remaining committed to a singular mission: creating music that stands the test of time rather than following passing trends.

Built entirely through independent effort, MANAFEST VISION has grown through years of producing records, international touring, artist development, educational programming, and meaningful collaborations across the global Hip Hop community. That foundation has led to partnerships with artists, organizations, and creative communities throughout North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe, demonstrating that independent music can cross borders without compromising its principles. Whether through music, education, or cultural exchange, the label continues to demonstrate that Hip Hop is a universal language capable of connecting people across continents.
